The inspections look at strategy, treatment and conditions, individual rights and health care. They also contribute to the United Kingdom’s response to its international obligation to ensure regular and independent inspection of all places of detention.

HMIC is to conduct an inspection of the Royal Military Police and is currently running a survey until the end of October 2016, the findings of which will inform the inspection. We are looking to hear from families of service personnel who have died overseas and whose death was investigated by the RMP since 2013.
