About the service
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service operates 31 stations. It employs over 700 people, including operational staff and a range of support staff such as business support, health and safety, equality and diversity, training and development, engineering and workshops, procurement, critical control, performance and support for staff.
The work the service does is varied and includes fighting fires, rescuing people, attending road traffic collisions and promoting community safety within local schools and to the wider communities within Cornwall.
