During our inspection of Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) in March and April 2023, we identified a cause of concern:

The service hasn’t done enough since our last inspection to make sure staff have access to gender-appropriate facilities.

On 20 October 2023, Cornwall FRS submitted an action plan setting out how it would address the areas of concern and our recommendations.

Between 5 and 6 March 2024, we carried out a revisit to review progress against the action plan.

This letter summarises our findings.
