Crime recording, Data  — 

During our Derbyshire Constabulary Crime Data Integrity inspection, in December 2018, we identified a cause of concern about crime recording arrangements. We revisited Derbyshire in October 2019 to complete an audit of incident records.

Crime recording  — 

In November 2015, HMICFRS announced that it would inspect forces’ crime-recording practices in a rolling programme of every force in England and Wales. This rolling programme will be completed over a period of several years and will report on the progress made by forces since the 2014 crime data integrity inspection. This report sets out the findings of an inspection of Norfolk Constabulary.

Between 23 and 27 September 2019, Ofsted, the Care Quality Commission, HMI Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services and HMI Probation carried out a joint inspection of the multi-agency response to abuse and neglect in Sefton.

This inspection assesses how effectively and efficiently London Fire Brigade prevents, protects the public against and responds to fires and other emergencies. We also assess how well it looks after the people who work for the service.

During our inspection of Essex County Fire and Rescue Service, in June 2019, we identified a cause of concern about how effective the service is at keeping people safe and secure from fire and other risks. We asked the service to submit an action plan setting out how it would address this cause of concern. We revisited Essex between 11 and 13 November 2019 to review progress against the action plan.
