This is His Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary’s first annual report to the Secretary of State under section 54(4A) of the Police Act 1996. This report describes our findings following an inspection of Dorset Police custody facilities. The inspection was conducted jointly by HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services and the Care Quality Commission in February 2023.

Between 26 and 31 March 2023, Ofsted, the Care Quality Commission and HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services carried out a joint inspection of the multi-agency response to children and families in Harrow who need help.
