This report details the findings of a joint inspection undertaken by Her Majesty’s Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate (HMCPSI) and HMIC assessing the progress made to date in the roll out of case file information digitisation.

In January 2015, the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP) Ministerial Board commissioned an HMIC-led tri-service review of JESIP across the ambulance, police, and fire and rescue services. The findings of the review are published in this report.
Child protection, Joint inspection —
Between 22 February and 26 February 2016, Ofsted, the Care Quality Commission, HMI Constabulary and HMI Probation undertook a joint inspection of the multi-agency response to abuse and neglect in South Tyneside Metropolitan Borough. This inspection included a ‘deep dive’ focus on the response to child sexual exploitation and those missing from home, care or education.
