Annual Reports
This section contains HMICFRS’s annual policing reports. The annual reports for 2007/08 and 2008/09 were incorporated into HMICFRS’s business plans for those years.
The Policing and Crime Act 2017 requires HM Chief Inspector for Fire & Rescue Services for England to lay before Parliament an annual report on the inspections undertaken. This will include an assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of fire and rescue services in England for the reporting period. Future annual fire and rescue reports will be published on this page.
HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary’s annual assessment of policing
The Police Act 1996, requires HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary to report each year on their assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of policing in England and Wales.
