Intrusive surveillance

Covert surveillance carried out by police and other law enforcement bodies in relation to anything taking place on residential premises or in any private vehicle. It involves the presence of an individual on the premises or in the vehicle or is carried out by means of a surveillance device. It is governed by Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, Part II.
