Child criminal exploitation

Where an individual or group takes advantage of an imbalance of power to coerce, control, manipulate or deceive a child to take part in any activity that breaks the law.

It may involve physical contact and take place in person, such as stealing or selling drugs. Or it may include non-contact activities and can involve technology, such as transferring illegal money online. The child may have been criminally exploited even if the activity appears consensual.
