In July and August 2024, widespread unrest and violent disorder broke out in many towns and cities across the UK. On 6 September 2024, the Home Secretary commissioned us to carry out a rapid review into the policing response to the disorder.
Child protection, Domestic abuse, Joint inspection —
Between 21 and 25 October 2024, Ofsted, the Care Quality Commission, HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services, and HM Inspectorate of Probation carried out a joint targeted area inspection of the multi-agency response to children who are victims of domestic abuse in Hertfordshire.
