The Rape Monitoring Group has today published 42 local area digests showing how cases of rape are dealt with at all stages of the criminal justice process.

On behalf of the national Rape Monitoring Group, HMIC publishes local area digests to provide a data set to enable more thorough analysis of how rape is dealt with in a particular area of England and Wales. This digest sets out the data for London (for police-recorded data the Metropolitan Police Service and the City of London are combined to make up the London local area).
