Kent - National child protection inspection post-inspection review
This inspection reviewed the progress made in Kent Police since the publication of Kent – National child protection inspection in 2019. It is part of a rolling programme of inspections of all police forces in England and Wales.
During this inspection we:
- examined force policies, strategies and other documents;
- interviewed senior leaders, managers and supervisors; and
- audited 38 child protection cases (11 cases were good, 9 required improvement and 18 were inadequate).
