Fire and Rescue Services: Greater Manchester

During our inspection of Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service between June and July 2021, we identified a cause of concern about how the service should have its own marauding terrorist attack response that is resilient, timely and cost effective.

In November 2021 we received the service’s action plan for addressing this cause of concern. We wrote to the service in December 2021 before revisiting them in May 2022.

This letter provides an update on our findings.
