Cambridgeshire – National child protection inspection post-inspection review
This inspection reviewed the progress made by Cambridgeshire Constabulary since the publication of our last report for Cambridgeshire in 2021. It is part of a rolling programme of inspections of all police forces in England and Wales.
During this inspection we:
- examined force policies, strategies and other documents;
- interviewed senior leaders, managers, supervisors, officers and staff;
- carried out case sampling; and
- audited 24 child protection cases (6 cases were good, 5 required improvement and 13 were inadequate).
