Responding to austerity progress report: Gwent Police

In Policing in Austerity: Meeting the Challenge, July 2014, HMIC judged Gwent as requiring improvement. We said we would continue to monitor Gwent Police in this area, and carry out a revisit inspection to assess its progress.

A recent revisit inspection has revealed that Gwent Police has made good progress since the original inspection in May 2014. Today, the report of that inspection is published.
