Nicola Faulconbridge joins inspectorate as new Assistant Inspector of Constabulary
His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) has been joined by a new assistant inspector to support its work.
Assistant Chief Constable Nicola Faulconbridge joins HMICFRS as an Assistant Inspector of Constabulary (AIC) on a 12-month secondment from Kent Police. She will provide additional support to policing inspection teams in the northern region.
AIC Faulconbridge has worked for Kent Police for over 21 years in a wide variety of roles across the force. She is a strategic firearms commander and has held the position of Assistant Chief Constable since 2018, most recently for central operations, including firearms, roads policing and public order.
AIC Faulconbridge said:
“I am proud to be joining HMICFRS on secondment as Assistant Inspector of Constabulary.
“I look forward to working with His Majesty’s Inspectors to help further improve public safety within policing.”
AIC Faulconbridge will begin her role on 17 October 2022.
