New HM Inspector announced
The Home Office has announced the appointment of Roy Wilsher OBE QFSM as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Constabulary and Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Fire & Rescue Services.
Roy Wilsher will be primarily responsible for the inspection and other work of HMICFRS in relation to the eastern region.
Sir Thomas Winsor, HM Chief Inspector of Constabulary, said:
“The Home Office has today announced the appointment of Roy Wilsher OBE QFSM as one of Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Constabulary and Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Fire and Rescue Services. Roy has had a distinguished career in the fire and rescue sector. His experience will be of great advantage to HMICFRS, contributing to the rich mix of skills and experience in our organisation. I’d like to welcome Roy Wilsher most warmly to HMICFRS, and to say how pleased all of us on the HMICFRS Board are that he has been appointed.”
