Lee Freeman and Michelle Skeer join inspectorate as new HM Inspectors

His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) has been joined by two new HM Inspectors (HMIs).

Lee Freeman will be primarily responsible for the inspection and other work of HMICFRS in relation to the London and national regions.

HMI Freeman said:

“I am delighted to start work as an HMI with His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue today.

“I look forward to working with colleagues across both policing and fire and rescue services in order to ensure the services provided to the public continue to improve.”

Michelle Skeer will be primarily responsible for the inspection and other work of HMICFRS in relation to the northern region.

HMI Skeer said:

“I am delighted to take up my role as His Majesty’s Inspector of Constabulary and His Majesty’s Inspector of Fire and Rescue.

“I am looking forward to this new challenge with HMICFRS as we work to make communities safer.”
