Joint targeted area inspection of the multi-agency response to child sexual exploitation, children associated with gangs and at risk of exploitation and children missing from home, care or education in Dorset
Today, Ofsted published a report of a joint inspection undertaken by HMICFRS, the Care Quality Commission and HM Inspectorate of Probation of multi-agency arrangements for dealing with child exploitation in Dorset.
This inspection focused on the multi-agency response in Dorset to:
- child sexual exploitation;
- children associated with gangs and at risk of exploitation; and
- children missing from home, care or education.
This inspection included a ‘deep dive’ focus on the response to children experiencing these vulnerabilities.
The letter outlines our findings about the effectiveness of partnership working and of the work of individual agencies in Dorset.
