Sexual risk order

An order made under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 that imposes restrictions on a person’s behaviour to protect the public from risk of sexual harm.

Unlike sexual harm prevention orders, the police can impose the order on anyone they consider to pose this risk. They don’t need to have a criminal conviction.
