Refugee

A person who has been forced to leave their country to escape war, persecution or natural disaster.

Alternatively, or in addition, a person who has been granted refugee status based on satisfying specific conditions. The refuge offered by the UK (such as leave to remain) may be time limited and subject to variation(s).
