About the service
Cheshire is located in North West England. The area includes the historic city of Chester and the prominent towns of Crewe, Ellesmere Port and Wilmslow. The county is mostly rural with several small towns and villages.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has 28 stations, four community safety centres and three community fire protection offices. Its headquarters is in Winsford.
The service responds to emergency incidents across the four unitary council areas of Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East, Halton and Warrington. It also provides community safety advice.
